Give Me Vintage. Give Me Leather.

Talking about mixing and matching some of your mother’s vintage pieces. It’s something exciting about when a woman has a stylish mother who waits until she reaches a certain age so she can pass down all her favorite vintage pieces. This sweater & these vintage Guess pants are both passed down from my stylish mother and hopefully I can save them for my little girl (yea, that would be many years from now.)

I’m a very detailed person when it comes to getting dressed. Here are a few things that I absolutely LOVE about this outfit and why this style will always be a classic for me.

             1.  Everything fits perfectly as if it was tailored just from me. (Let’s keep in mind it wasn’t it was passed down from my stylish mother)
          2.     The sweater stops right at my wrist just enough room to show my pearl bracelet (I had on pearl earrings as well but it’s hard to see)
              3.     These pants fit me like a glove honey & stops right at the ankle so my pumps can show. The pants doesn’t have any extra slack (love when that happens)
4.     I love these colors together olive green, gray, crème/snake skin and a hit of metallic.

This style will forever be a classic of mines because it’s perfect for church, work or to a business meeting. Have to love those classic styles! Oh, and lastly, you can mix and match these pieces to create more styles. Check out how I did it here, here and here!
