Have you ever found yourself getting ready to donate clothes and couldn’t part with certain items? Recently, I cleaned out my closet and wanted to get rid of a lot of things, including this skirt. Reason being is, both of my closets are full to CAPACITY and it doesn’t help the fact that I’m always buying something new. I believe if you haven’t worn something in a while, you should get rid of it. So, that’s exactly what I did but before doing so, I needed to try on this skirt to make sure it was something I REALLY wanted to get rid of and it’s a good thing I did because it wasn’t.
I purchased this A-line black and white skirt from forever 21 years ago and I’m still in love with it to this day!! It fits perfectly and it’s an easy transitional piece I can wear with stockings when it gets cold outside. I wore a red lip and red caged heels from Shoedazzle to add a pop of color. I also wore a sheer & leather bodysuit from American Apparel purchased years ago as well but it wasn’t on my donated list. I really liked this look. It was perfect for a day of accomplishing everything on my to do list and afterwards, dinner with my girls.
How do you like this look? Have you ever found yourself getting ready to get rid of items and decided to hold on to something instead? If so, tell me about it?
